The sister (that would be Leslie) of Bridezilla (that would be me) hosted a luncheon for me today. The SOB is the bestest. I tried to be the bestest bridezilla today too. Leslie organized the party through eVite and arranged it to be at Chez Zee, a nice bistro type restaurant on the north side of Austin. Leslie had all the right bridal decorations. There were wedding bell balloons

Don't you think these two look like Mike and me? that's a bouquet in the background. I threw it "virtually" to KL so she finds the next husband (and gets a greencard).
Since we are running off to an island to get married, there was a palm tree and a fish table decorations (which no matter how many times I rotate the pictures will not go the right way in blogger today!) but you will see them in photos below.
Since my ring is back in Alabama at the jewelry design guy's store, Leslie kindly loaned me this one to wear today. It is quite a rock!!
Many of my good friends were there.

A few people violated the no gift rule...but it was okay. Mary gave me a book of Porn for Women with men vaccuuming, taking out the trash, offering to forgo watching football to go to a craft fair and other women's fantasies; a signed copy of the Boggy Creek Farm recipe book (with a good luck sprig of rosemary inside- Cathy is so clever!) and Renee made 2 CDs of her and her husband's favorite love songs.
Thank you Leslie for doing this for me - you are the best sister! Thanks to all my friends who took time from their busy days to celebrate with me. Thanks Steffi for being the photographer. This was a big milestone and now I know we're in the final countdown days! In two weeks we will be on the island!!!
