Mike and I saw Bonnie Raitt at Bass Concert Hall Sunday night. We were in the very middle seats of the orchestra section so it would have been impossible for the camera police to nab me, so I snuck a few pictures at the beginning of the show. It was a very emotional show for Bonnie since her good friend Stephen Bruton had just died this weekend. She said it was appropriate for her to be playing in Austin as a tribute to Stephen and she spoke many times of him and also of Poodie who died last week. After being spoiled by my children who made me a delicous brunch, listening to music was a great way to spend the evening. Days like today I just want to savor every moment.
