A ferry ride

The Cape May - Lewes ferry is an hour and 20 minutes from Delaware to NJ.

So this is the 3rd (and final!) post this a.m. to record our adventures from Friday thru Saturday. After we left Queenstown, we decided to go back to NJ via the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. We were scheduled to be on the 7 p.m. so we were looking forward to seeing the sunset from the ferry. Unfortunately there were big dark probably storm clouds on the horizon so we had to settle for an high sunset which is still very pretty, but didn't have the typical red glow. We saw dolphins along the way too.

Here is one of the lookouts from WWII where they watched for submarines along the coast. There are still a number of these standing. Mike using his handy dandy flip flop bottle opener! (available at REI if anyone is interested)

We got back to the beach house around 10:15 and met Jimmy and Marie at the Crab's Claw for dinner.

I would write more but the sun is shining the skies are blue and the ocean is calling!!
