Short blog this a.m. because there is 50% chance of rain, but the sun is shining right now. Monday was another great day at the beach. The ocean was calm but there were some good "riders" and I wore a body-surfable bathing suit. The excitement on the beach today was a fisherman who by the strain on his fishing pole, appeared to have caught a very large fish. Quite a large crowd gathered around and we saw the fish jump once before the line broke and he swam away. They said it was a 6 foot ray. Good thing he didn't actually bring it in - it might have frightened everyone out of the water.
Guess who we saw again last night?! Here is Rich Meyer doing his best Bruce Springsteen impression. He did a lovely Bruce medley "for the folks from Austin Texas!"
This woman requested a Beach Boys song and then promptly jumped up on the bar to dance.
