Wednesday night=Softball

Last night we had a softball game and I thought it would be good to put up a few pix so you can see what it is like. The team is the SUPERNATURALS. I've been playing on the team for 7 years now! Back then we had team shirts, but they are probably all worn out not to mention there are hardly any of us left from that era.

Our games are at Krieg Field on the east side of town.

We have real dugouts!
The view from 1st base. Someone must have been safe.
Mike scoring a run! He is so fast the dust hasn't even settled by the time he reaches home plate.
This is Joe. He was the anchor for our team last night - the only guy in the field so he had to run everywhere and he hit very well too.
Meg who played with us last night and scored another run. She played varsity softball at Westlake and is blazing fast like her dad.Mike pitching (he is our best pitcher!)

Meg and Kelli coming in from the outfield and, um, are a little bit mad at me. I had been playing outfield, next to Meg and asked Kelli to play one inning for me. It was fortuitous (for me) because the other team hit everything to them.
Not only can she run, but Meg can hit too! The social time after the game is at least as fun as the game itself. Some of our players play several games and it is fun to hang around, enjoy cool beverages and watch other games.
