Maryland

On Saturday we wandered down to the Annapolis city dock area and Main Street. The first order of business was to find a Starbucks. We found one in the basement of the Treaty of Paris hotel. It was the most interesting Starbucks I've ever been in and it begged for a photograph:

After Bux, we wandered down Main street windowshopping. Here is Main Street looking up toward Church Circle

This is the old fish market. I remember when it still smelled like fish. Now it has pretzel vendors and other eateries inside.

Here are the docks

And an amusing name for a restaurant (Pusser's) with a church steeple in the background. I can't remember what that church is but my Mom or sister may know and post it in a comment.

After Annapolis, we headed across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to Queenstown. Lucky for us, Mike has EZPass and we sailed thru the "troll" while everyone else sat in a two mile line. Here are Orville and Mom at their home "Wye Haven."

And the view to the right from their pier

I could look at the Wye River all day.

Thanks Mom for a nice visit and an especially delicious crab/chicken salad lunch. We will come back soon!
